The Perfect Cocktail for Your Halloween Party: The Gravedigger

It's time for all of the goblins, witches, and ghouls to get together to celebrate one of my absolute favorite holidays! It marks the beginning of fall, which I herald as the premier season. The air is so crisp, and the beautiful fall colors are a feast for the eyes.

One of the most fun aspects of Halloween is the parties. A signature cocktail always makes a party more festive and saves you from playing bartender all night.

We are bringing together some spooky vibes with The Grave Digger cocktail. It can be quickly made up for a crowd or for solo sipping for an eerie good time! So if you are planning a holiday event, we have you covered.

 
 

This Halloween cocktail is a refreshing, fizzy party pleaser perfect for celebrating. I love this combination of the orange whiskey, apple cider, and ginger beer flavors. Could this flavor combo scream fall any louder?

To kick the orange flavor up a notch, we added Scrappy's Orange Bitters. I received a box set of their small-batch bitters and have been playing around with the many different aromatic flavors. They make every batch by hand, and you can literally taste the craftsmanship in each bottle. Stay tuned for more tantalizing cocktails featuring this brand.

The Gravedigger

Ingredients

What You'll Need
  • 2 oz Jameson Orange Flavored Irish Whisky
  • 2 oz Apple Cider
  • 1 oz Lemon Juice (juice of half a lemon)
  • Splash of Scrappy's Orange Bitters
  • Ginger Beer
  • Orange Peel for Garnish

Instructions

What You'll Do
  1. Add Whiskey, Apple Cider, Lemon Juice, and Orange Bitters to a Mixing Glass.
  2. Add Ice and Stir.
  3. Pour into Glass.
  4. Top with Ginger Beer
  5. Garnish with Orange Peel
  6. Enjoy!
