What’s in Your Glass For National Tequila Day: How About a Spicy Sparkling Paloma?

National Tequila Day is an annual celebration of one of the world's most beloved spirits. This day is observed on July 24th and is the perfect opportunity to raise a glass in honor of this Mexican drink. Tequila is made from the blue agave plant, which is primarily produced in the area surrounding the city of Tequila, 65 km (40 mi) northwest of Guadalajara, and in the highlands (Los Altos) of the central western Mexican state of Jalisco. Its unique flavor is derived from the soil and climate of the region where it is grown.

There are many ways to celebrate National Tequila Day. You can try a new tequila cocktail or even visit a tequila distillery. If you prefer to celebrate at home, consider hosting a tequila-tasting party with friends. Having your friends bring a bottle of their favorite tequila is a great way to sample different types of tequila and learn more about the history and culture behind this spirit. Or you could try one of Naturally Hooked's delicious tequila cocktail recipes.
